Heaven’s Gate (2025)
A photo created as part of the Oslo Collection, a concept developed by Oslo Museum.
This image was taken late at night in Lutvann, a place I’ve spent a lot of time. A building lit so brightly it felt like some kind of entrance to something bigger. A sort of heaven’s gate in the middle of concrete, darkness and trees.
For me, this is about the moments we usually walk past. The ones that, just for a second, feel almost sacred.
The photo is part of a larger project where I document District Alna as I see it. Honest, but also full of silence and feelings.
The project was made in collaboration with Oslo Museum and is exhibited for the first time in 2025.
